The Bubble

A shake, and a blow, and I was born.
Completely round and shiny, with various colours shining from my round exterior body,
I rose from my birthplace and drifted far.
Higher, and Higher, passing through branches with apprehension and wonder.
I drifted in this wide expansion of space knowing full well,
One touch, and I would die.
My round body reflected masses of greenery, long stems with their pretty heads swaying in the breeze, as the breeze caressed my round body holding me quite safe, but oh, for how long, my life was so short
I must not touch any of these beautiful things, If only, I could stay, perfectly still suspended here in space from this dome, looking and wondering at the beauty below.
Through my mirror like body I could see large moving objects, how near could I get without dying, a warm glow filled my body as the sun shone through my transparency twinkling little lights engulfed me as I drifted on, oooh, a fast blow, and I was way up.
The air seemed cooler now the air inside my little rotund body seemed to cool quite suddenly I prepared to die;
The wind of Change blew hard, I trembled, and shook, and died.
